The Pacific-12 Conference morphed into the Big Two and everyone else based on Tuesday’s preseason media poll, which picked USC and Washington as the overwhelming favorites to win their divisions.
The Trojans received 28 votes to win the Pac-12 title game while the Huskies received 22. So does anyone else have a chance to upset the experts’ choice?
Maybe. The media’s picked the correct champion just twice in the past 10 seasons. So even though USC has been a top-four pick in many preseason magazines and polls, it would not be crazy.
But who is willing to bet on a sleeper team emerging?
