USC’s Adoree’ Jackson hopes to break into first round of NFL draft

LOS ANGELES >>- Usually, when a college football player is considered a first- or second-round draft choice, he spends all winter and spring working out with personal trainers and focuses solely on his pro career.

But on most Tuesday nights at USC during the start of the spring semester, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson faithfully attended his communications class.

“I’m trying to graduate,” Jackson said. “I want to get my degree real quick.”

It’s easier said than done for someone with Jackson’s schedule. In recent weeks, it’s been tougher for him to attend, whether he had to travel to the NFL combine or meet with pro teams.
