Quarterbacks Max Browne and Sam Darnold combined for 5 touchdown passes, including 3 to wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, and tailback Justin Davis ran for a pair of scores to highlight the USC football team’s 84-play Spring Game on Saturday (April 16) before 23,000 fans in the Coliseum.
Browne hit 7-of-11 passes for 114 yards and 3 scores, including a 64-yard TD on the game’s third play to wide receiver Darreus Rogers, while Darnold was 6-of-7 for 63 yards and 2 touchdowns. Browne’s other scoring tosses were 38 and 1 yarders to Smith-Schuster, while Darnold threw a 4-yard TD pass to Smith-Schuster and a 38-yarder to tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe.
