LOS ANGELES — USC is officially the preseason favorite in the Pac-12.
The Trojans were picked to win the conference, according to the annual media poll released Wednesday.
Of the 52 media members surveyed, the Trojans received 28 votes to win the league outright in the conference title game.
Washington, the defending conference championship and coming off an appearance in the College Football Playoff, received 22 votes as title-game champion.
Only two other teams were picked to win the Pac-12, including Oregon and Utah with one vote apiece.
The Trojans and Huskies were the prohibitive favorites in the South and North divisions, respectively, each receiving 49 of the possible 52 votes to do so.
