USC quarterback Caleb Williams is not expected to throw at next week's NFL Scouting Combine, Bleach Report's Jordan Schultz reported Sunday.
Williams is the No. 4 overall player on Bleacher Report's 2024 NFL Draft Big Board with a grade of 9.2, just behind North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye at No. 3. He is also expected to be taken with the first pick in the NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.
The Bears reportedly "gathered information" this week surrounding Williams along with Maye, J.J. McCarthy and Jayden Daniels.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Williams will still be in Indianapolis at the Combine this week, but won't throw for teams.
