Pac-12 football review: Stanford rebounds, USC regresses

At the end of a long third weekend of college football, the Pac-12 remained, predictably, unpredictable.

But a few things are beginning to clear up.

USC isn’t what we thought, though most certainly what we worried.

After a sluggish start, Stanford might actually be who we originally predicted.

UCLA is the most complete team in the conference, but the Bruins will have to survive the inevitable up and downs of freshman quarterback Josh Rosen.

Meanwhile, Cal quarterback Jared Goff is solidifying himself as the best quarterback in the conference, and the Bears might end up being the surprise team in the Pac-12 North.
