Arizona's Khalil Tate one of Serra High stars who didn not end up at USC

LOS ANGELES – USC has nine players on its roster who attended Serra High of Gardena.

They’ll see a familiar face on Saturday at Arizona.

It is likely the Wildcats will turn to freshman quarterback Khalil Tate for what would be his first career start after injuries beset Brandon Dawkins and Anu Solomon.

“He’s pretty much the same with me,” USC cornerback Adoree’ Jackson said. “Once he has the ball in his hands, it’s hard to get him down. He’s electrifying with the ball. He can be beat you with his arm, and beat you with his feet.
