USC Football announced this morning that they will host the Rice Owls on September 3rd, 2022 at the LA Coliseum.
The schools last met on September 18, 1971 with the Trojans shutting out the Owls, 24-0. The Trojans have never played a team from the Conference USA. USC played Louisiana Tech in 1999, 14 years before the Bulldogs joined the Conference USA.
