Ex-USC Lineman Donnie Hickman Dies

Donnie Hickman, a 2-year starting offensive guard at USC who was a member of the Trojans’ 1974 national championship team, died on Saturday (June 27) of cancer in Glendale, Ariz. He was 60.

A funeral will be held on July 8 at 11 a.m. at Christ’s Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave., Flagstaff, Ariz. 86004.

Hickman lettered 3 years (1974-76) at USC, starting his final 2 seasons. As a senior in 1976, he made the All-Pac-8 first team and was USC’s Offensive Player of the Year as the Trojans went 11-1, won the Rose Bowl and finished with a No.
