U.S. youth international Brandon Vazquez moves from Club Tijuana to Atlanta United

A United States youth international is moving from Club Tijuana of Liga MX to Major League Soccer.

The player? U.S. U-19 striker Brandon Vazquez.

The destination? Newly minted club Atlanta United FC.

Vazquez scored four goals this year with the Under-19 men's national team. He's the ninth player to join Atlanta, which includes fellow youth internationals Andrew Carleton and Chris Goslin.

“Brandon is an exciting addition to the foundation we’re building with our roster,” team president Darren Eales said. “Our club is committed to identifying and securing young and exciting prospects nearing the prime of their careers, and Brandon is another example of that.
