Police from Hartford and West Hartford are investigating after a car involved in a shooting in Hartford crashed into a Subway restaurant in a commercial plaza just over the West Hartford town line.
Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene at 1037 Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Witnesses said three people were taken away by ambulance.
Hartford police said in a post on Twitter that the shooting occurred at 1034 Capital Ave. in the city. Two people in a car traveling west on Capitol Avenue were fired upon before the vehicle crashed into the West Hartford Subway.
