After seven rounds, all but one of UConn’s NFL Draft hopefuls, including Noel Thomas, Mikal Myers, Andreas Knappe, Jhavon Williams and others, will be taking the undrafted free agent route to pursue their professional dreams.
Thomas seemed to be the leading candidate of that crew to be drafted, as the only other Husky invited besides 2nd-round pick Obi Melifonwu, while Knappe and Williams were the only other ones on Mel Kiper’s Big Board. Myers received some love from analysts and was viewed as someone who may have had an outside shot.
