It is all over. The #3 UCLA Basketball team has finished the season 31-5 as they came up very short in their Sweet 16 game agaisnt #2 Kentucky.
The Bruins, who had a fantastic turnaround from last season, are now done. Try as they might, the Bruins could not answer the onslaught of the Wildcat offense.
Despite a low scoring game in the first half, both teams were playing each other very tough. With the game just barely in Kentucky’s favor at the break, 36-33, this game was anyone’s for the taking.
But that changed in the second half.
