Jordin Canada, Kennedy Burke lift No. 13 UCLA women past USC 71-67

LOS ANGELES — The UCLA women’s basketball team did it again.

This one was much closer than earlier this week, but No. 13 UCLA beat USC on Sunday for the second time in four days, this time a 71-67 victory.

UCLA improved to 15-4 overall and 6-2 in the Pac-12.

Jordin Canada and Kennedy Burke each scored 23 points for the Bruins while Monique Billings had a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

USC (10-9, 1-7) suffered its seventh consecutive loss. Courtney Jaco led USC with 18 points, and Kristen Simon added 16 points and eight rebounds.
