William Middlebrooks, the basketball coach at Cathedral High School, issued a statement regarding the Kobe Paras situation.
Cathedral High School William Middlebrooks, who also runs the Middlebrooks Academy prep team, issued a statement on the Kobe Paras situation which has been posted on Spin.ph. In it, Middlebrooks denies that Paras has an SAT issue as the Cathedral High principal had suggested to the LA Times.
At this point, it appears that Paras simply has not met the requirements to be admitted to UCLA as Middlebrooks' statement indicates that Paras is academically eligible according to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
