Since 1920, there has been a Bruin in every Olympiad except 1924. This year, 35 individuals with UCLA affiliations will participate in the Rio Olympics.
In a little under two weeks, the world will descend upon Rio for this year’s Olympic Games and, while there may be reports of problems with plumbing and electrical wiring in the Olympic Village, a total of 35 individuals with UCLA affiliations continue to prepare for the Games.
Of the thirty athletes affiliated with UCLA, three are current students and four are incoming freshmen while nine more have graduated since the London Games four years ago.
