Jason Rae might be the only person who spent more time thinking about the hand injury UCF quarterback Justin Holman suffered than Holman himself.
Lately, Rae pulls his fellow offensive linemen into a huddle and gives the same pregame speech about protecting their quarterback, "nobody touches him."
"[We've] just gotta take pride in that because if he gets hurt … we don't want to have another situation like we did at the beginning of the season," Rae said.
Since Holman returned to action against UConn Oct. 10, the offensive line has given up just three sacks.
