New head coach Scott Frost quickly squashed any hints of a brewing quarterback controversy between Justin Holman and McKenzie Milton during his Monday press conference.
"We're gonna play whichever player gives us the best chance to win. Sometimes that has to do with health, sometimes it's performance. Whatever it is, we're excited to have all our quarterbacks up and completely healthy," Frost said Monday afternoon. "But I think McKenzie gives us the best chance to win this week."
Despite Milton's costly game-ending fumble against Maryland, the 18-year-old freshman quarterback from Hawaii showed enough strong flashes to convince Frost that Milton is the future of UCF's offense and deserves a chance to play now.
