The American Athletic Conference opener for the programs Sunday featured a familiar storyline, with the Huskies throttling the Knights 84-48 at CFE Arena before an announced crowd of 4,539 that included numerous UConn fans and a surprise appearance by former baseball great Darryl Strawberry.
In fairness, few basketball programs in the country have figured out how to stop the Huskies' freight train.
