UCF falls short against Tulsa in home finale

UCF’s seniors delivered some highlights during their final home game of the season before an announced crowd of 35,141, which included former head coach George O’Leary.

The school unveiled a statue, placed in front of Roth Tower, of the retired football coach Friday night at a private event.

But the Knights weren’t able to come up with enough big plays to overcome their flubs during a 35-20 loss to Tulsa Saturday night at Bright House Networks Stadium.

UCF’s defense and special teams unit kept the Knights in contention despite some early penalties and a fumble in the first half.
