Offensive coordinator says UCF must reduce penalties, improve passing attack

UCF's offense has work to do after failing to put up a second-half point during a heartbreaking loss to Temple Saturday, surrendering a 25-7 advantage the Knights built up in the first half.

One play on UCF's final drive late in the fourth quarter could have meant the difference between a 4-2 record and moving closer to bowl eligibility and the Knights' current 3-3 mark.

But even knowing Temple would pull off a comeback 26-25 win, UCF offensive coordinator Troy Walters said he wouldn't change the decision the coaching staff made to give up the ball in the final minute.
