Tulsa's Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 4+ both earned second place marks in the final day of competition at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Jennifer Casson, Lauren Vander Hoeven, Hannah Vissers, Helen Leigh, Colleen Giesbrecht, Mikala Burns, Sydney Pirkle, Sophia Camara and Marcia Vidaurri raced the Eight to a time of 6:27.09, two seconds behind Louisville, but two seconds ahead of Notre Dame and 13 seconds faster that West Virginia.
In the 2nd Varsity 4+, Abigail Elggren, Lindsay Crute, Emily Truss, Nichole Backus and Katie Shin turned in a time of 7:42.
