PROVIDENCE, RI – University of Tulsa cross country and track & field student-athlete Clara Langley earned the American Athletic Conference's Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence Award for women's cross-country, as announced today by league commissioner Mike Aresco.
The award is given in each of the 21 league-sponsored sports to the top student-athlete based on academic success, athletic accolades, volunteerism and community service.
Langley, from Kingston, Canada, earned all-conference honors in cross-country for three seasons and was a member of three conference cross-country championship teams. She placed seventh individually at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships in the fall.
