The University of Tulsa women's golf team begins the 2015-16 season this weekend at the third annual Schooner Fall Classic. The 54-hole event takes place from Saturday-Monday, Sept. 18-21, at the Belmar Golf Club.
Tulsa tees off at 9:00 a.m. for their first round of the season Saturday morning.
The teams participating in 12-team field include host Oklahoma, Florida State, Kansas, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas State, Troy, Tulsa and UTSA.
The Hurricane will field a young squad for the season-opening tournament with three freshmen, along with one junior and one senior.
