The Tulsa rowing team earned a first-place mark in the Varsity 4+ and 3rd Varsity 8+ in the first day of racing at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. TU will conclude racing in the regatta tomorrow.

"Today was a pretty good first look for us in getting the team out on the river for the first time of the season and racing 2,000 meters," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "I am pleased with the way we raced and the way we shifted lineups throughout the two sets – morning and afternoon.
