Tulsa Players Look to Make NFL Teams as Free Agents

The NCAA's 2015 leader for receiving yards, Tulsa's Keyarris Garrett, has agreed to join the defending NFC Champion Carolina Panthers as a free agent. Defensive end Derrick Alexander has a free agent tryout with the Washington Redskins.

As a senior, Garrett caught 96 passes for 1,588 yards, a 16.5 average and eight touchdowns in 2015. He finished the season ranked first nationally for receiving yards (1,588) and receiving yards per game (122.2 ypg) and eighth for receptions per game (7.4 rpg). Garrett had seven 100+ receiving games as a senior, including two games with over 200 yards.
