TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa's 2017 football season opener against state foe and Big 12 opponent Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma, will be played on Thursday night, August 31.
The game will kick-off at 6:30 p.m. (CT) and televised on FOX Sports 1 (FS1).
The Golden Hurricane and Cowboys will meet for the 73rd time as OSU holds a 39-28-5 series lead. This will be just the third time in the series that the teams kicked off the season against each other, as the previous two times came in 1987 and 1990.
