LUBBOCK, Texas – On Friday afternoon, The University of Tulsa men's tennis team lost to No. 11 Texas Tech in a 4-1 decision at the McLeod Tennis Center in Lubbock, Texas. The No. 18 Golden Hurricane falls to 14-10 overall, while the Red Raiders improve to 23-3 overall.
In doubles play, Connor Curry and Felipe Soares defeated Dominic Bechard and Dylan McCloskey, 6-1, to take a 1-0 doubles point lead. TU battled back to tie the doubles point at 1-1 as No. 77 Matthew Kirby and Okkie Kellerman defeated Alex Sendegeya and Bjorn Thomson in a 6-3 decision.
