The Tulsa football team returned to the practice field on Tuesday following a week off for Spring Break. The Hurricane practiced in helmets on Tuesday and added shoulder pads for Thursday's workout.
Tulsa has eight more spring practice sessions scheduled, including the Annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 8.
Head Coach Philip Montgomery has been pleased with the first seven practices thus far this spring.
"I've liked our energy level and our competitiveness. We have some big shoes to fill with graduation of some players who played key roles for us, and the competition going on for those sports has been really, really good," said Montgomery.
