TULSA, Okla. u2015 The Tulsa women's tennis team defeated Montana State 7-0 on Saturday morning at The Hurricane Invite to open the spring season 1-0.
Tulsa started off the match with three doubles wins, as Valeryia Rozenkova/Maria Berlanga defeated Van Baelen/Cuquerella 6-2, while Laia Conde Monfort/Shura Poppe defeated Chen/Lerma 6-1. Lily Hutchings/Ana Naranjo Martinez defeated Jayasaputra/Villarejo 6-1 as well.
The Golden Hurricane dominated on the singles side, winning every set over the Bobcats 12-0. Monfort, who is ranked No. 91 in the the most recent ITA Singles Rankings, didn't play against Montana State, moving up everyone one slot.
