TULSA, Okla. –– Mark Watt was named assistant women's tennis coach at The University of Tulsa following two years as a volunteer assistant coach for the Golden Hurricane, Head Coach Dean Orford announced today.
In his two seasons as a volunteer assistant, the Tulsa women posted an overall 32-15 record for a .681 winning percentage and finished as runners-up at the American Athletic Conference Championship each season.
"We are pleased to be elevating Mark to the full-time assistant coaching position. He has coached at the highest D1 level and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience," said Orford.
