WICHITA, Kan. – Chloe Hershenow and Peter Lynch both claimed first in the 10,000-meter run Friday night during the opening day of the 2022 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Tulsa men are currently in second place with 27 points, while the women are in third with 16 points.
Hershenow's win marks the second straight year that Tulsa has won the 10k, following victory last season. Hershenow set a new personal-best at 36:06.
