Tulane's offense comes alive in a 38-13 win over UConn Saturday

EAST HARTFORD, CONN. — In their brief history out on the gridiron, matchups between Tulane and UConn football have been far from offensive shootouts.

In fact, in the Green Wave's last two meetings against the Huskies, only 25 total points were tallied between the two teams — highlighted by just one offensive touchdown over 120 minutes of play.

Despite their season-long struggles on offense, the Green Wave did not follow the familiar narrative of futility against the Huskies' defense Saturday night.

Rather than sputter in their final contest of the 2016 season, Tulane's offensive corps awakened against the Huskies at Pratt and Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, as the Green Wave reeled off 412 total yards en route to a 38-13 win over UConn.
