The American Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Tulane first baseman Hunter Williams was awarded the conference's Player of the Week after his performance last week.

The Green Wave (18-18) grabbed first place in the AAC standings after posting a 4-0 record last week and Williams led the way by going 6-for-18 at the plate during the four victories with one home run and six RBIs.
