First-year Tulane baseball coach already has something 'starting to drive me nuts'

One day after four errors contributed to a one-run loss, Tulane could pinpoint other factors that contributed to another loss Sunday.

The Green Wave, with nine walks allowed and 13 runners left on base, suffered a second loss in three opening-weekend games, this time by a 7-4 score to Army.

The Black Knights had all seven runs driven in by one batter, senior Alex Dickerson, whose first three at-bats came with a combined eight runners on base.

"It's not like we have to go undefeated," first-year Tulane coach Travis Jewett said. "The losses, we have to learn from them.
