Tulane left-hander Ross Massey will try Sunday to duplicate what LSU left-hander Jared Poche achieved Saturday, and that is to throw a no-hitter against Army.

Poche tossed a seven-inning no-hitter against the Black Knights in a game shortened to accommodate for the doubleheader played between the team.

Massey is a Baton Rouge native and a 2016 freshman All-American. He posted a 10-3 record with a 2.29 ERA in 90.1 innings.

Tulane (1-1) enters Sunday having split a pair of nine-inning games Saturday against Air Force, both one-run decisions. Air Force scored three runs over the final three innings in the second game to prevent Tulane from achieving a sweep.
