Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers (12) throws against LSU in the first half in Baton Rouge, La., Saturday, Sept. 30.
Matthew HintonTroy quarterback Brandon Silvers figures he’s watched action at Turner Field from just about every vantage point – except the one he’ll have Saturday.
The four-year starter guesses he’s been to “around 20” Atlanta Braves games. The former home of the Braves, now downsized to a 23,000-seat football stadium, is the new home of Georgia State football. The Trojans and Panthers kick off there at 1:05 p.m.
“I’ve probably sat in most of the spots at Turner Field watching a baseball game,” Silvers said.
