On Idaho’s side, kicker/punter Austin Rehkow could be the Vandals’ biggest weapon. As a sophomore in 2014, he finished in the top three in voting for the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation’s best punter.
Last year, Rehkow was a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award, awarded to the nation’s best kicker. He also has two first-team all-Sun Belt Conference honors and one second-team nod.
Oh, and his four field goals last year against Troy – the last one coming with 3:01 left in the game – helped the Vandals knock off the Trojans on their homecoming.
