DOTHAN, Alabama – It was a story of two halves, but the Troy men's basketball team's first half was enough as it defeated Paine College 85-77 at the Dothan Civic Center. John Walton III showed his senority as he led the Trojans with his fourth career double-double, pouring in a career-high 22 points and reeling in a career-high 19 rebounds, one shy of Troy's Division I single game record.
Wesley Person had a fiery first half as he sunk a career-high six treys on his way to 22 points. Person finished the night with 28 points, shooting 9-of-18 from the floor.
