AUBURN, Ala. -- As she has the entire season, senior Gemma Finch led the way for the Troy track and field program, as the Trojans closed out the second and final day of the War Eagle Invite hosted by Auburn University.
Competing in the 800m and on the Trojans 4X400 relay team, Finch led the Trojans to a pair of second place finishes, re-establishing her school-record and career-best time in the 800m.
In that event, Finch ran a time of 2:06.24, finishing just over two-tenths of a second behind Michaela Lewis of Alabama State who ran a time of 2:06.
