TROY, Alabama – Troy junior center Deontae Crumitie has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List, the Boomer Esiason Foundation announced Tuesday.
Crumitie is Troy's most experienced offensive lineman returning for 2017 with 19 starts under his belt after becoming the first true freshman to start a season opener on the offensive line in Troy's recorded history when he took the field for the 2015 opener.
A native of Lake City, Fla., Crumitie started all 13 games in 2016 on an offensive line that led the nation with just eight sacks allowed all season long.
