Wolves are wrapping up the signing of free agent Matt Doherty and are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Nico Elvedi, 26.
Doherty is set to return to Wolves, where he previously played between 2010 and 2020, on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old is a free agent following the expiry of his short-term contract at Atletico Madrid.
Doherty left Molineux for Tottenham for £15million three years ago but never established himself in north London and was allowed to depart for Spain last January.
He is represented by Jorge Mendes' powerful Gestifute agency, who have strong relations with Wolves.
