ESPN pundits apologise to Tottenham and Harry Kane after now-deleted video showed them mocking England captain's speech in a 'disrespectful and regrettable' chat where presenter said 'for someone who speaks like that, thank God he plays football'

ESPN have been forced to apologise after being branded 'disrespectful, incompetent and derogatory' after Tottenham striker Harry Kane's voice was mocked on a live broadcast.

Kane netted once more for Spurs from the penalty spot in a 2-1 victory against Brighton, which saw them climb to second in the table and the striker move into the top 10 goalscorers in Premier League history.

Leaked footage shows ESPN FC's Alexis Nunes and Mark Ogden beginning to talk about Kane's performance and career before halting the conversation, and in between takes they then discuss the way his voice sounds in disparaging terms, with an off-screen producer also using insulting words about the England captain.
