Trail Blazers (24-33) at Raptors (34-24): Preview

The Toronto Raptors began their new era of tough, nasty hoops with a win over the Boston Celtics. They have a chance to continue the fun against one of the NBA’s most disappointing squads, the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland’s backcourt is as critical to their success as Toronto’s is to theirs. The Blazers boast two excellent shooters and penetrators in Damien Lillard and C.J. McCollum. But the offensive excellence of this pair is often overshadowed by their defensive struggles. The Blazers surrender an average of 110 points per game [PG], so unless your guards are Steph Curry and Michael Jordan, you’ll lose more than you win.
