The Toronto Raptors will make room for one more body in the fall training camp, after signing undrafted forward Jarrod Uthoff to what Yahoo! Sports reported as a partially guaranteed two-year deal.
At six-foot-10 and 214 pounds, the 23-year-old Uthoff is a rangy three-point shooter projected as a possible second-round pick in his senior season at Iowa. He put up 18.9 points per game while making 38.2 per cent of his three-pointers with the Hawkeyes last season.
Like the signing of guard Fred VanVleet on Monday, the Raptors can use training camp to see how Uthoff fits into the team’s plans.
