Tyler Hansbrough has signed with the Charlotte Hornets, ending the veteran power forward’s two-year tenure with the Toronto Raptors. In truth, moving to Charlotte was a logical move for Hansbrough, who will be able to occupy a much larger role on the team. Plus, because of Charlotte’s plethora of quality centres, he will primarily play power forward, which he often did not have the chance to do in Toronto.

Though Hansbrough may be better off in Charlotte, the Raptors have truly lost someone who could have made a difference.
