Honestly, the Toronto Maple Leafs don’t need to rush slapping the ‘C’ on anyone too soon.
And yes, there’s a too soon in regards to this topic.
Walt Whitman may have a thing or two to say about this little captain vacancy, though.
The great debate, however, sparks interest among Leafs fans far and wide as to who should be the next captain of the franchise.
It’s an interesting conversation because the choice is not 100% clear, but it’s very close to being that sure of a thing, still, not there just yet.
