Goal: Rumor has it that the Toronto Maple Leafs are interested in backup golatender Jhonas Enroth. While (true) rumors are non-existent in the Lamoriello era, this one comes out of Sweden making it slightly more reasonable to believe.
If only because they don’t have to play by the same rules Lou places on fellow NHL teams. Enroth would be a great addition, with the only negative being that he is not part of any team and therefore would add another contract to the maximum of 50 allowed. If they traded a depth forward for a backup, it would save a contract.
