Dave Morrison's future with the Toronto Maple Leafs is up in the air. Sportsnet writer Cary Joyce is reporting that the Leafs have fired Director of Amateur Scouting Dave Morrison. Maple Leafs Hotstove, on the other hand, is reporting that Morrison has not been fired. Joyce is also reporting that Morrison has not been contacted yet, so the reports may not be as conflicting as they seem on their face.

Morrison has been the head scout for the team since 2006. He was one of just a handful of scouts who survived the team's scouting purge in April when the team cut loose 18 of their scouts.
