Round one of the CHL playoffs is over and two of our prospects have seen their seasons come to an end. Andrew Nielsen and the Lethbridge Hurricanes were upset by the Regina Pats, losing their series in 5 games. Nielsen isn't done yet however, as he's signed a ATO with the Marlies and will join them for the rest of the AHL season.
Last night Nikita Korostelev and the Sarnia Sting lost game seven of their first round series vs the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, a bit of an upset since the Sting were the #2 seed, the 'hounds #7.
